During meetings with the leadership of Ukraine, Blinken will talk about the importance of additional US aid to Ukraine and assure Ukrainians of the continued support of the US.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Kyiv. On the morning of Tuesday, May 14, he announced this on the social network X.

“Today I returned to Kyiv to demonstrate our steadfast support for Ukraine, which is defending its freedom from Russian aggression,” he wrote.

Reuters reports that during meetings with the leadership of Ukraine, Blinken will talk about the importance of additional US aid to Ukraine and assure Ukrainians of the continued support of the US.

Earlier, Blinken stated that Ukraine will maintain the front in the Kharkiv region. At the same time, the official noted that the months-long delay in receiving additional funding for military aid to Ukraine led to losses.

Earlier, Blinken reported: the USA is ready to hold negotiations with Russia, if the Kremlin demonstrates a sincere desire to do so.
